THE WOUNDED. – The whole number of wounded entered at the Seabrook Receiving Hospital up to last evening, from the battles on the Rapid Ann, was eight hundred and seventy-nine. All are doing well, with few exceptions.

A legal gentleman of this city, well known for his philanthropy, but who would not have his right hand know what his left doeth, has placed in the hands of the surgeon in charge one thousand dollars, to be expended in the purchase of delicacies for the wounded.
