BIG CONTRACT FOR THE TREDEGAR WORKS
The Richmond Tredegar Works, according to advices received last night, will shortly have a contract which will keep a large force of men busy for a considerable length of time. The following was sent to The Times-Dispatch by its Washington correspondent:
“General Crozer, Chief of Ordnance, has contracted with the Tredegar Iron Works, of Richmond, for a large quantity of iron projectiles, model of 1903. The projectiles will include ten-inch shot, twelve-inch shot, and twelve-inch mortar shot.”
