Property of Miss Van Lew.
RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 25. – The personal property, bric-a-brac, and other portable belongings of the late Miss Elizabeth Van Lew, whose services to the Union cause during the civil war made her notable, have been sent to Boston. There, under the direction of Executor S. Phil Reynolds, these articles will be disposed of at public auction. Miss Van Lew’s Boston and other Northern friends will, it is understood, erect a monument over her grave in Shockoe Cemetery here.
