The Dixon Murder.

The trial of Robert S. Forde, charged with shooting and killing Robert E. Dixon, Clerk of the House of Representatives, on the 24th of April, 1863, is progressing in Richmond. The Examiner says the prisoner is a young light-haired man. His manner was cool and unembarrassed. But for an angry roll of his large blue eyes, it would be difficult to believe that he had ever been or could be a principal actor in a tragedy so deep and bloody as the one claiming the attention of the Court.
