MAYOR'S COURT. - There was no case of interest before the Mayor yesterday. The case of C. M. Rex, charged with stealing nitre from the Government, was, after being partially heard, continued. Rex alleges that he bought the nitre and other parties were in Court who had bought on the streets a similar article, but it was well established that it had been originally stolen from the laboratory.
Four small white vagabonds, the oldest of whom was not more than twelve years old, were committed to jail for stealing iron from the Old Dominion Iron Works.
