DEPREDATIONS. – Great complaints are made by the citizens of Church Hill regarding the depredations upon their fencing and poultry houses by the negroes who inhabit Chimborazo Hospital Hill. The greatest amount of depredation is committed beyond the city limits in the county of Henrico. Hogs have been taken from the quiet security of their pens and slaughtered, and the sanctity of the clothes lines of the domicils invaded and ruthlessly despoiled.
