Prison Items. – Five Union men were brought to the military prison of the Eastern district, yesterday morning, from Saulsbury, N. C. Benj Thicker, who was lodged in the above prison some months ago for forging a sick furlough, died in the hospital of the prison yesterday. Two Yankee deserters were lodged in the Libby prison yesterday. At the same date there were confined there 67 prisoners of war, including 25 or more Yankee officers; 119 citizen prisoners, 63 Yankee deserters, and 22 negroes.
