From the Richmond Dispatch, 8/14/1862
Arriving. – A number of prisoners, heretofore confined at Salisbury, N. C., and Lynchburg, arrived here yesterday. This necessitated the removal to Libby's building from Belle Isle of all the citizen prisoners and deserters. Among the officers daily expected from Salisbury are Colonels Corcoran, of the 69th New York, and Wilcox, 1st Michigan, taken at Manassas.
