REV. T. EDWARD MARTIN, of the M. E. Church, who has been laboring an efficiently among the soldiers at Chimborazo Hospital, has been elected Chaplain to the 1st Virginia regiment, Lieut. Colonel Skinner, commanding. We congratulate the 1st on being so fortunate in securing the services of so zealous and pious a minister.
