From the Richmond Sentinel, 6/2/1864
Released from the Castle. – Nicholas Carroll and nine Italians, the former confined in Castle Thunder for desertion, and the latter for refusing to do military duty, were on yesterday released from confinement, by order of the Governor, and returned to their regiment in the Virginia Reserves.
