From the Richmond Dispatch, 9/27/1862, p. 2, c. 3
A Flag of Truce is expected up from Aiken's Landing to-day, and if it comes one hundred and fifty Yankee civilians and soldiers will be sent off. The conductor of the cars on the Central Railroad stated Thursday night that there were now at Gordonsville about 500 Yankees, many of whom were wounded, and that they might be expected to-day. If they come in time they may be included in the number leaving for Aiken's Landing.
