The Richmond Postoffice.
The renomination of Miss Van Lew is a deserved compliment to a good and noble woman, and a faithful public officer. The office under her administration has the reputation of being one of the best managed in the whole country. The public are satisfied, and the department is well served. Her confirmation by the Senate we regard as a matter of course.
