MORE PLAY FOR THE CHILDREN. – Miss E. L. Van Lew, postmaster of Richmond, is out in a published appeal in behalf of less study and confinement and more play for children. We heartily endorse her appeal. Grown legislators find two hours per diem about as much confinement as they can stand, and we are decidedly of opinion that children should not be made to stay in school and study more than two or three hours a day. – Whig.
