ACCIDENT ON BELLE ISLE. – Douglas Baird, a citizen of Manchester, employed in the turning shop on Belle Isle, yesterday had his arm very badly injured while he was assisting in the adjustment of some machinery. Drs. Chiles and Weisiger, of Manchester, gave Mr. Baird prompt surgical attention, and we learn that he is doing well to-day.
