ALLOWED AN INTERVIEW. – Marmaduke Johnson, Esq., was, on yesterday, permitted by Gen. Turner to visit Richard Turner, now awaiting in the Penitentiary his trial on a charge of mistreating Federal prisoners of war, but when or before what tribunal he will appear is not known.
Mr. Johnson will defend Mr. Turner and has the most sanguine hopes of being able to disprove the charges against his client.
