Tredegar Iron Company Will Furnish Shells for Government
WASHINGTON, D. C., April 22. – Among the contract awards announced at the War Department to-day were the following:
To the Tredegar Iron Company, of Richmond, for furnishing 1,200 twelve-inch cast iron shells, at $32 each. To the Bethlehem Steel Company, for furnishing 1,600 seven-inch target shells, at $10.48 each; 1,000 eight-inch shells, at $17.18 each, and 600 ten-inch shells, at $32.70 each.
