VOTE SITE FOR THE STATUE OF STUART
There is little doubt, if there be any doubt whatever, that the proposed equestrian statue of General J. E. B. Stuart will be erected in the Capitol Square grounds. The bill reported by the Committee on Finance and Banks dedicating a site and making an appropriation of $10,000 to the monument fund was advanced to its second reading in the Senate yesterday. It will pass the Senate without objection, and chances are that it will go through the House of Delegates.
