Mr. W. Ben Palmer, secretary for the Veteran Cavalry Association, which is collection funds for the erection of a monument to General J. E. B. Stuart acknowledges the following receipts. Amount last reported, $2,304.65. Cash received this week: Hon. Claude A. Swanson, $5, Washington, D. C.; General Stith Bolling, Petersburg, Va., $20; W. Minor Woodward, city, $50; Captain B. M. Parham, city, $5; Philemon Chew, St. Louis, Mo., $25. Total $105.
