NEW YORK, July 15. – At a special meeting of the colored general committee of the city and county of New York, on Saturday evening, resolutions were unanimously adopted repudiating Greeley and Brown, and sustaining the Republican ticket.

A letter from Richmond, Virginia, says that already more than fifty prominent members of the democratic party have declared their willingness to canvass for Grant and Wilson, while not a single republican of any prominence, influence of respectability has gone over to Greeley, except Franklin Stearns, of this city, and Lewis McKenzie, of Alexandria.
