SENATE BILLS FOR THIRD READING.
…To modify the laws of the State relative to lotteries. (So as to allow a lottery in Atlanta for building a school for indigent orphans of soldiers.) Mr. Moses moved to insert names of Mrs. W. H. T. Walker, Mrs. C. J. Williams, and Mrs. Geo. Dolce as associate corporators in this bill. Mr. Harrison moved to insert name of Mrs. Phoebe Pember. The amendments were agreed to, and the ladies’ names were inserted and the bill passed.
