THE MARKETS are pretty well supplied with meats, vegetables and country produce generally, and prices are not extravagant, though they are higher than there is any necessity for, it is so hard to overcome the old spirit of extortion and greed which afflicted the hucksters and produce dealers under the old dispensation of depreciated Confederate currency.
