DISTINGUISHED PARTY. – Mrs. President Lincoln and Mrs. Gen. Grant arrived in the city on yesterday. In the afternoon, the party, accompanied by several prominent Government officials, rode through the city in carriages with an escort of cavalry, and returned to City Point in the evening, whither the President had already gone.
Vice President Andrew Johnson, Hon. Mr. Harlan, Secretary of the Interior, and Hon. Preston King are also here.
Assistant Secretary of War Dana is in Richmond.
Secretaries Wm. H. Seward and E. M. Stanton are expected during the present week.
