THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS COMPANY'S OFFICE, Main street, was totally destroyed by the great conflagration of Monday morning, with a heavy consignment of freight. Nothing was saved. The Linwood House, kept by Mrs. Samuels, hard by the Express office, was also destroyed.
