DIDN'T START. - The Ambulance Corps turned out yesterday morning, to guard a number of prisoners to Salisbury, N. C., but on getting to the depot with their precious charges it was ascertained there was some hitch in the railroad arrangements, and the prisoners were marched back to Castle Thunder. They are represented to be a most desperate set of culprits. One of them succeeded in divesting himself of his ball and chain after getting to the depot yesterday. They will be again started this morning for their destination, guarded by Capt. Dooley's Corps.
