BODY FOUND. - Yesterday morning the body of an unknown soldier was found in the basin, near the Gallego Mills. Dr. Little, coroner, was sent for, but, upon viewing the body, considered an inquest unnecessary. The man had evidently been drowned, and had been in the water a week or more. There were no marks of violence on his person, and no papers in the pockets of his clothing that could lead to his identification. - There was, however, a small sum of money in one of his pockets. He, no doubt, stumbled into the canal or basin, while drunk, and was drowned.
