Malfeasance in Office. – We have been informed that Capt. G. W. Alexander, Commandant of Castle Thunder, is now confined at his quarters, charged with malpractice in office, the nature of which will be investigated by a Court Martial. The nature of the charges against him will not be made public until after the trial.
P. S. Capt. Alexander has been released from arrest. He has, we learn, invited an investigation of his official conduct before a Court of Inquiry, which has been granted him, and which court will convene at an early day.
