From the Richmond Sentinel; 8/12/1863
In the City. – Gen. Hood, who was wounded in the arm at Gettysburg, has arrived in this city, and we are pleased to learn that he is recovering from his wound. We understand that Gen. Hood, has been created a Lieut. General, and will soon take command of all the cavalry in the Army of Northern Virginia.
