The Yankees at Prayers. - We learn that the Yankees confined at Libby Prison, among whom are one or two chaplains, are holding prayer meetings nearly every day. We should as soon expect the natives of the Fejee Island to unite in the adoration of the Most High, but there is no limit to the presumption of an unadulterated Yankee. Can anybody imagine a more shameless proceeding than the offering of a prayer to God by a man who has wilfully and wantonly violated the commandants of Jehovah. Let the officers of the prison have written upon the walls thereof such part of the 21st verse 2d chapter of Romans as may be applicable to the chaplain and his hearers.
