The Rioters. – Mary Johnson and Virgil Jones, charged with participating in the late riot, were yesterday examined before the Hustings Court, and remanded to be tried for felony. Bail was refused. Sundry applications have been made for reimbursement of parties despoiled of their property by these thieves and their associates, and the Attorney for the city has the matter under consideration, to ascertain whether the city is liable for property destroyed, or taken by rioters.
