From the Richmond Examiner, 5/28/1864
THE WHOLE NUMBER OF PRISONERS entered at the Libby Prison since the first battle of Manassas, July, 1861, up to yesterday, was something over ninety-seven thousand. The entry clerks at the Libby are Messrs. Ross and Liggon, and long service has so familiarized them with the multiform details of their work that their services are indispensable to Major Turner, commanding the post.
