From the Richmond Examiner, 5/15/1863
THE HOSPITALS. – The wounded soldiers from the Chancellor fights are now nearly all comfortably provided for in the Richmond hospitals, under the care of experienced surgeons and nurses. We have visited a number of the hospitals, and were especially struck with the very perfect arrangements of General Hospital No. 22, corner of Main and Twenty-fifth streets, in charge of Dr. Addison C. Fox. Every ward and bed is filled, but such is the perfect system of details, as managed by the surgeon in charge, that not one patient is allowed to suffer from neglect through the inattention of underlings.
