CASTLE THUNDER ITEMS. – Two members of the City Battalion, J. C. Johnson, and George H. Snider, were confined in the Castle yesterday by order of the commandant of the post, Captain Alexander, to answer the chare of sleeping at their posts. John W. Jones, of the Purcell Battery, was lodged therein, charged with being a deserter for the second time; and J. H. Tyler, of Stuart's Horse Artillery, was admitted, charge with desertion.
Seventy-eight of the prisoners were forwarded to their regiments yesterday morning.
