THE ENGINEER BUREAU HOSPITAL. - A hospital has been established in the city for the reception and care of the negroes employed on the city defences, when they become sick or disabled. The hospital was prepared by Lieutenant Stanard, and Dr. Vest is Surgeon in charge, and Mr. A. B. Gwathmey the Steward and Druggist. Under the care and attention of the above gentlemen, the owners of slaves in the public employ may feel assured that they will receive prompt medical attention when sick.
