Talavera For Sale or Lease.
THE valuable garden farm known as above, is now offered for sale or lease. It is situated immediately upon the Deep Run Turnpike, about one mile from the City of Richmond, and within a short distance of the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad. Upon it is a dwelling house in good repair, and every way desirable, besides an excellent office, new servants’ house, kitchen, and all the necessary out-houses. The water is unsurpassed by any in the vicinity, and the location generally considered healthy.
The Farm contains about 33 acres, and is in a high state of cultivation. There are upon it a number of fine fruit trees, consisting of the best varieties of apples, peaches, pears, plums, cherries, &c., all selected and reared with great care, and most of them just matured. Also, a fine Vineyard, containing several varieties of grapes, and more than two acres of asparagus beds, of superior quality, and very productive.
Every arrangement has been made for the Spring market: the servants on the place are for the most part acquainted with the business, and will be hired, if wished, and the farming utensils, &c., disposed of. As possession will be given immediately, all delay or loss will thus be avoided. The neighborhood is pleasant and agreeable, and the situation offers unusual inducements to any one wishing to cultivate a market farm.
Further information may be obtained on the premises, or by applying to Mr. R. A. Talley, at the Tredegar Iron Works.
