THE HOSPITALS. – We have received several communications respecting the condition of the wounded and their treatment at the different hospitals in and near the city. They bear severely upon the capacity, labors and habits of some of the surgeons in charge, who are represented as being considerably more prone to keep themselves easy than attend assiduously to the welfare of their patients. The communications are too long, and, in some cases, too bitter to publish, while yet the subjects of them have an opportunity to improve.
