Tredegar Battalion. – The Tredegar Battalion, consisting of about 350 men, made a fine parade yesterday, under Major R. S. Archer. The artillery company paraded one long 24-pounder rifled gun, a siege shell gun, and two 6-pounder rifled pieces – all fine guns. The infantry numbered about 250 men. They were accompanied by the Armory Band, led by the celebrated Chris Volandt, of Baltimore, and discoursed most excellent music. They were reviewed by the Governor, it is said, preparatory to being mustered into service to march at an hour's notice.
