Strangers. – A large number of strangers arrived in this city on yesterday. This has been the case for several days past. Speaking of the way hotels thrive, we are reminded of the fact that a few nights since the St. Charles Hotel, on Main street, accommodated 1200 guests, showing at least that it had not lost its popularity.
