Redeeming the Old Issue. – After a cessation of two or three months, the old issue Confederate notes can now be redeemed with the new at the counter of the Treasury Department. The work of redemption was begun on the 1st instant, and we learn that there will be no further interruption till the whole of the outstanding amount now in circulation is taken in.
