Man Almost Scalped.
Henry Johnson, a colored employee of the Tredegar Works, was hurt badly yesterday. A quantity of stone and dirt caved in on him and cut his head. The man was almost scalped.
Dr. Cunningham, of the City Almshouse, had to take twenty-two stitches in the man’s wounds. The negro was carried to the almshouse where he is doing well.
