G H CAMP WINDER, 5TH DIVISION, May 14, 1863.

R A LEWIS, Surgeon in charge, takes this method of returning his thanks to Mr Thomas Watkins, of Halifax, for the very acceptable donation of fifteen pounds of fresh, sweet butter, made by him to this hospital through Mr John Booker. – It will be most palatable and beneficial to the brave soldiers who are sick and wounded.
