Mayor’s Court, Monday, May 25th. – John G. Scott and John Davis were examined for assaulting James Overby, a soldier, of the City Battalion, Friday night, at Rocket’s, and robbing him of a gold watch, pocket knife, and $27 in money. They were remanded to the Aldermen’s Hustings Court, and as the proof against them was positive they will no doubt in due time get to the penitentiary.
