MOONLIGHT EXCURSION TO DREWRY’S BLUFF. – Having chartered the fine and commodious Steamer WEST POINT, commanded by the polite and accommodating Captain J C FOWE, we will make a GRAND MOONLIGHT EXCURSION on THURSDAY EVENING, May 28th, leaving her wharf at Rockett’s at 1 ½ o’clock, to DREWRY’S BLUFF, remaining to allow visitors to take a moonlight view of the Bluff and its fortifications; also, the gunboats Richmond, Nansemond, and others lying in the majestic James. There will be a splendid Brass Band to perform on the occasion, with Cotillion Music, giving an opportunity to the visitors of dancing, with nice refreshments on board, and everything pleasing to the eye and delightful to the taste, hoping to be able to give general satisfaction to those who may take a trip by moonlight. Tickets, admitting a gentleman and two ladies, $5.
