Religious Intelligence. – Pontitical High Mass was celebrated at St. Peter’s Cathedral yesterday, Right Rev. Bishop John Magill officiating. At the close of the ceremonies, which were very interesting, and witnessed by a large congregation, the Papal benediction was pronounced. The services yesterday terminated the May festival and the lectures that have been delivered in the Cathedral for a month past in elucidation of doctrinal points. The festival or celebration of the Penticost, commemorating the delivery of the law to Moses by God, was held at the Hebrew Synagogues in this city yesterday.
