Under Sentence of Death – A man named Charles Dale, who is now under sentence of death was brought to Richmond yesterday from Gen. Longstreet’s army, and lodged in prison for safe-keeping. Dale, when caught, belonged to one of the companies of freebooters, known as “Buffaloes,” in whose system of warfare are embraced such acts as murder, house-burning, stealing, and others not recognized in legitimate war.
