Military Parade – A very extensive parade of the troops employed on the Richmond defenses, including Major Elliott’s City Battalion, was had yesterday forenoon in Rocketts old field, just below the city. The companies, battalions &c., mustered with full ranks, and went through the various evolutions with credit to themselves and their respective commanders. They were reviewed in line by Major-General Elzey and staff. – Before yesterday it had been months before so many muskets had glistened in the morning sun in Rocketts old field.
