Accident. – About one o’clock yesterday at the corner of 12th and Main streets, a pistol dropped from the pocket of an overcoat worn by Lieut. George Randolph, (stationed at Camp Lee) and, striking on the pavement, one barrel exploded, the ball passing upwards through the calf of his leg and producing a painful wound, which bled profusely. The sufferer was carried into Peterson’s drug store and professionally attended by Dr. Blair Burwell.
