Yankee Deserters. – Five men, lately belonging to the Yankee army, were brought from Salisbury, N. C., last night and lodge in the Libby Prison. Their names are John McEvoy, co. B, 7th Ohio; Jonas Edwards, co. C, 81st New York; C. Proctor, co. C, 92d New York; R. Harper, co. I, 5th Rhode Island; Samuel Molin, co. D, 3d New York; George Heisel, co. H, 5th Rhode Island. The men represent themselves as deserters from the army. They came in and gave themselves up to our pickets, expressing themselves tired of the war.
