Two Deserters to be Shot. – Privates Michael Kierans and James Broderick, of the Letcher Artillery, were tried before the Court-Martial yesterday for desertion, and were found guilty, two-thirds of the Court concurring in said sentence. The Commanding General of the Department of Henrico approved the proceedings, the findings, and sentences of the Court in these cases, and ordered that the condemned men be shot to death with musketry, at Camp Lee, on Friday, February 6th, between the hours of 8 and 3 o’clock P. M., under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Richmond.
