Mechanics' Institute. – The ladies find every day some new object of interest at this favorite place of resort, and it is quite natural that they should renew their visits every convenient opportunity. As a consequence the gentlemen are attracted, and thus it follows that the Institute presents a scene of gaiety while all enjoy. In fact, we know of no more pleasant method of passing an evening. Col. Thos. J. Evans will deliver an address to-night. Mr. J. B. Smith, the leader of the orchestra, will play a favorite air on his silver bugle, accompanied by Prof. Hewitt, on the piano.
