Prison Items. – The following deserters were lodged in Castle Thunder yesterday, viz: Thos. Conner, co F, 6th La.; John Thompson, battery No 4; Peter Reynolds, co E, Walker’s Guard; John Connor, battery No 4; Wm. King, co L, 1st S C; John Riley, alias Rowe, alias Moore, co E, 18th Va; Martin Tierney, co C, 19th Miss; J W Reardon, co D, battery No 4; Serg’t Mansfield, co C, 14th La; Mike Flinn, do, false papers and resisting the guard; P. W. Garrison, co D, 46th Va; Richard Buckhead, do, deserters.
The two men, E. D. Fish and G. Nellis, arrested by order of Gen. Wise, on the charge of attempting to get to the enemy in New Kent, were discharged yesterday by order of Gen. Winder.
